An unlicensed pro cannot take a TaskBond job of $1,000 or more. Work that needs a building permit is outside these bookings. No mold remediation, no biohazard, no exterior pressure washing unless a separate yard quote says so, and no unlicensed job of $1,000 or more.

An unlicensed pro cannot take a TaskBond job of $1,000 or more. Every example above is under that cap. A larger quote needs a pro who can legally take it.

What's included

The regular clean list, plus the buildup you describe.

Mold remediation and biohazard cleanup.

How to prepare

Say how long it has been since the last thorough clean.
List ovens, fridges, or blinds if those must be included.
Clear counters enough that the surface can be reached.
Agree on supplies in the quote.

Typical time

A typical deep clean often takes about 4–7 hours, and a very neglected home can take longer. If the condition is unknown, post it for quotes and send photos.

Payment stays on hold
The card is charged when you book or accept. The pro keeps 100% of their price. You pay a 9% service fee and a 4% booking protection fee on top. The payout stays held until you confirm.

Photo, confirm, or dispute
The pro uploads a completion photo. Confirm to release payment, or open a dispute within 72 hours. If you do neither, the hold releases 3 days after completion.

If something is wrong

Open a dispute from the booking within 72 hours after the pro marks it complete. The payout stays on hold while the dispute is open. If you cannot do that in the app, email support@thetaskbond.com with the booking. Cancel before the pro accepts, or if the pro cancels, and the refund is full. Cancel after acceptance with less than 24 hours until the appointment, or after the pro has arrived, and a $59 trip fee applies, capped at the quote.

Response times

TaskBond does not publish a response-time promise. A pro accepts, declines, or sends a quote when they choose. If a paid booking is still unaccepted after 48 hours, the payment is refunded. Support email is read by the operator. There is no stated same-day support window.

How is a deep clean different from move-out cleaning?

A deep clean is a home you are still using. A move-out clean is an empty unit, including empty cabinets, for a handoff. Book the one that matches the rooms.

Do I need to be home?

Someone needs to provide access, or you leave a key or code you are comfortable sharing with the pro you booked. TaskBond does not keep a master key.
