Who we are
TaskBond (“we”) operates thetaskbond.com. Contact: support@thetaskbond.com, Sacramento, California. The street address will be confirmed by the owner before this draft is final.
Information we collect
Account data (name, email, password handled by our auth provider, role of customer or pro), booking data (city, street address, schedule, notes, photos), pro payout data held by Stripe, messages, reviews, and waitlist emails. Payment card numbers are entered on Stripe and are not stored by TaskBond.
How we use it
To create accounts, show pro listings (name, services, prices, area, rating — not your street address), take payment, pay pros, send transactional email, prevent fraud, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in (Supabase auth). We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. A cookie banner is not required for these necessary cookies. If analytics are added later, we will ask before setting non-essential cookies.
California privacy notice (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know the personal information we collect, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA/CPRA. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would give you a right to limit that use beyond providing the service.
Categories we collect: identifiers (name, email), commercial information (bookings, payments), internet activity (requests to our site), geolocation at the level of city and address you submit, and professional information if you are a pro (service area, prices, license number). Sources: you, pros, customers, and Stripe. We retain booking and payment records as needed for taxes, disputes, and fraud, and delete or de-identify other data when it is no longer needed.
To exercise a right, email support@thetaskbond.com with the subject “California privacy request”. We will verify the request and respond within 45 days. You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. You may use an authorized agent with proof of permission.
Service providers
Supabase (database and login), Stripe (payments and pro payouts), Resend (email, if enabled), Vercel (hosting), and Sentry (error reports, if enabled). They process data only to provide those services.
Children
TaskBond is not for anyone under 18.
