Mounts, assembly, small fixes
Handyman and installation on TaskBond is the small-to-medium home work an independent pro can quote before the visit: one TV, a flat-pack room, a few cameras, a shelf, or a short list of repairs. It is not a remodel, and it is not a licensed-contractor contract.
The directory lists a pro only after payouts are enabled. If that list is empty, post a job. Pros set their own prices. TaskBond does not promise how soon someone will reply.

How TaskBond works
This is a payment hold, not a workmanship warranty and not an insurance policy. TaskBond does not promise the job will be redone, and it does not promise a pro will answer by a set time.
Book someone at the price they set, or post the work and accept one quote. You see the price before you pay.
The card is charged when you book or accept. The pro keeps 100% of their price. You pay a 9% service fee and a 4% booking protection fee on top. The payout stays held until you confirm.
The pro uploads a completion photo. Confirm to release payment, or open a dispute within 72 hours. If you do neither, the hold releases 3 days after completion.
Open a dispute from the booking within 72 hours after the pro marks it complete. The payout stays on hold while the dispute is open. If you cannot do that in the app, email support@thetaskbond.com with the booking. Cancel before the pro accepts, or if the pro cancels, and the refund is full. Cancel after acceptance with less than 24 hours until the appointment, or after the pro has arrived, and a $59 trip fee applies, capped at the quote.
TaskBond does not publish a response-time promise. A pro accepts, declines, or sends a quote when they choose. If a paid booking is still unaccepted after 48 hours, the payment is refunded. Support email is read by the operator. There is no stated same-day support window.
Each city page has the housing and a local task list. The service page is the full scope.
TV mounting, furniture assembly, security cameras, smart-home device setup, shelving, and general handyman tasks. Each has its own page with what is included, what is not, and a typical time range.
No. New circuits, panel work, structural changes, and work that needs a permit are outside these bookings. An unlicensed pro cannot take a TaskBond job of $1,000 or more.
