Cleaning

House cleaning in Sacramento, CA

A regular clean is a maintained home, not a house that has been empty for a year. Say the bedroom and bathroom count, pets, and whether anyone will be home. The pro sets the price for that size. Supplies are whatever the quote says: yours, or the pro's, agreed before the visit.

Where the visit changes

The same service is a different visit in a Midtown flat, a Citrus Heights ranch, and a Folsom Ranch two-story. Open the city page for the housing, access, and a task list written for that place.

TaskBond is a marketplace for independent pros. It is not a licensed contractor, and these pages are not an offer of licensed contractor work. An unlicensed pro cannot take a TaskBond job of $1,000 or more. Work that needs a building permit is outside these bookings. This is not mold remediation, biohazard cleanup, hoarding clearance, or a job of $1,000 or more for an unlicensed pro.

Price guidance

These are catalog examples already on TaskBond, not a quote and not a survey of local rates. The pro sets the price. You see it, plus a 9% service fee and a 4% booking protection fee, before you pay.

  • House Cleaning: example from $120.00 per job

An unlicensed pro cannot take a TaskBond job of $1,000 or more. Every example above is under that cap. A larger quote needs a pro who can legally take it.

What's included

  • Kitchen and bathroom surfaces, sinks, and appliance exteriors.
  • Floors vacuumed or mopped for the surfaces you describe.
  • Dusting of reachable surfaces.
  • Beds made if you leave clean linens out and ask.
  • Trash and recycling taken to the bins you point out.

What's not included

  • Mold remediation, biohazard cleanup, and hoarding clearance.
  • Inside an oven or fridge, unless you booked deep cleaning or added it to this quote.
  • Laundry and dishes beyond what the quote lists.
  • An unlicensed job of $1,000 or more.

How to prepare

  1. Count bedrooms and bathrooms, and mention pets.
  2. Put away valuables and medication.
  3. Say whether the pro should bring supplies or use yours.
  4. Note stairs and whether anyone will be home.

Typical time

A typical maintained home often takes about 2–4 hours. More rooms, pets, or heavy buildup push it toward a deep clean instead. The range is typical, not a fixed appointment length.

How TaskBond works

Payment is held until you confirm the work.

This is a payment hold, not a workmanship warranty and not an insurance policy. TaskBond does not promise the job will be redone, and it does not promise a pro will answer by a set time.

  1. 01
Book a pro or post a job

Book someone at the price they set, or post the work and accept one quote. You see the price before you pay.

  2. 02
    Payment stays on hold

The card is charged when you book or accept. The pro keeps 100% of their price. You pay a 9% service fee and a 4% booking protection fee on top. The payout stays held until you confirm.

  3. 03
    Photo, confirm, or dispute

The pro uploads a completion photo. Confirm to release payment, or open a dispute within 72 hours. If you do neither, the hold releases 3 days after completion.

If something is wrong

Open a dispute from the booking within 72 hours after the pro marks it complete. The payout stays on hold while the dispute is open. If you cannot do that in the app, email support@thetaskbond.com with the booking. Cancel before the pro accepts, or if the pro cancels, and the refund is full. Cancel after acceptance with less than 24 hours until the appointment, or after the pro has arrived, and a $59 trip fee applies, capped at the quote.

Response times

TaskBond does not publish a response-time promise. A pro accepts, declines, or sends a quote when they choose. If a paid booking is still unaccepted after 48 hours, the payment is refunded. Support email is read by the operator. There is no stated same-day support window.

Frequently asked questions

What should I tell the pro about the house?

Bedrooms, bathrooms, pets, and the neighborhood. A one-bedroom flat and a two-story house are different quotes. Mention stairs.

Do I need to provide supplies?

Only if you want specific products. Otherwise say whether the pro should bring supplies, and that choice belongs in the quote you approve.

Is a clean the same as a deep clean?

No. A regular clean maintains. A deep clean adds the inside of appliances, baseboards, and detail work, and it has its own service and price.
