Pet care on TaskBond is a walk you describe, or an overnight stay in the setting the pro offers. It is not veterinary care, and TaskBond is not a kennel. Tell the pro about bites, reactivity, medication, and whether the dog can be around other animals before you book.
The directory lists a pro only after payouts are enabled. If that list is empty, post a job. Pros set their own prices. TaskBond does not promise how soon someone will reply.

How TaskBond works
Payment is held until you confirm the work.
This is a payment hold, not a workmanship warranty and not an insurance policy. TaskBond does not promise the job will be redone, and it does not promise a pro will answer by a set time.
- 01Book a pro or post a job
Book someone at the price they set, or post the work and accept one quote. You see the price before you pay.
- 02Payment stays on hold
The card is charged when you book or accept. The pro keeps 100% of their price. You pay a 9% service fee and a 4% booking protection fee on top. The payout stays held until you confirm.
- 03Photo, confirm, or dispute
The pro uploads a completion photo. Confirm to release payment, or open a dispute within 72 hours. If you do neither, the hold releases 3 days after completion.
If something is wrong
Open a dispute from the booking within 72 hours after the pro marks it complete. The payout stays on hold while the dispute is open. If you cannot do that in the app, email support@thetaskbond.com with the booking. Cancel before the pro accepts, or if the pro cancels, and the refund is full. Cancel after acceptance with less than 24 hours until the appointment, or after the pro has arrived, and a $59 trip fee applies, capped at the quote.
Response times
TaskBond does not publish a response-time promise. A pro accepts, declines, or sends a quote when they choose. If a paid booking is still unaccepted after 48 hours, the payment is refunded. Support email is read by the operator. There is no stated same-day support window.

Frequently asked questions
Is a walk the same as boarding?
No. Dog walking is one outing. Pet boarding is overnight care for the nights in the quote. Book the one that matches the dates, and do not assume a walker can keep the dog overnight.
What should I tell the pro about my dog?
Leash habits, doors, keys or a lockbox, and any bite or reactivity history. A pro can decline at the door if the dog was not described honestly. TaskBond does not provide veterinary care.
