Rancho Cordova, Sacramento County
Handyman in Rancho Cordova, CA
Rancho Cordova is two eras on one map. Gold River and Lincoln Village are established houses with repair lists. Anatolia, Sunridge, and the east-side streets are master-planned homes still accumulating furniture, TVs, and a camera over the garage.
Gold River is larger lots and 1980s–1990s houses. Lincoln Village and Mills are older and closer to the river and light rail. Mather reuses the former air-base area and mixes housing types. Zinfandel adds apartments near the business parks. Anatolia, Sunridge, Stone Creek, and White Rock are newer planned neighborhoods with open floor plans and HOA streets.
Catalog numbers are examples, not a quote and not a local rate survey. The pro sets the price. You see it, plus a 9% service fee and a 4% booking protection fee, before you pay. An unlicensed pro cannot take a TaskBond job of $1,000 or more.
Typical jobs in Rancho Cordova
Each service has its own Rancho Cordova page with what is included, how to prepare, and a typical time range. These lines are the local version of the first task, not a flat price list.
Write the neighborhood, not just Rancho Cordova. A Gold River garage and an Anatolia great room produce different quotes. Apartments near Zinfandel often have metal studs or concrete. Say if you are above the ground floor and whether the building allows exterior cameras.
- A family-room mount in Anatolia, Sunridge, or White Rock on new drywall.
- A full bedroom set in Anatolia or White Rock, boxes in the bedroom.
- Front door and driveway cameras on a Gold River house, side yard included only if the signal reaches.

- A Gold River house clean, lot size irrelevant, interior counts relevant.

Neighborhoods and areas served
Gold River
Larger established houses. Garage storage, family-room mounting, and small repairs in baths that are 30 years old. Lots are bigger, so a camera plan has more side yard to cover and more ways to point at a neighbor.
Lincoln Village and Mills
Older houses and smaller lots near the river side of the city. Doors, drywall, and fixture swaps are more common than tall-wall TV installs. Some streets are a short walk from light rail, which matters if you are describing parking.
Mather
Housing on and around the former air-base reuse area. Styles vary block to block. A photo of the front and of the wall in question saves a bad assumption about studs or HOA rules.
Zinfandel and nearby apartments
Rentals by the office parks. Assembly and TV mounting are indoor jobs. Exterior cameras and smart locks that replace building hardware need the landlord. Metal studs change the anchor plan.
Anatolia, Sunridge, Stone Creek, and White Rock
Newer master-planned houses east of the older core. Move-in assembly, tall family-room TVs, pantry shelves, and doorbell cameras. Some HOAs regulate the street-facing elevation.
How TaskBond works
Payment is held until you confirm the work.
This is a payment hold, not a workmanship warranty and not an insurance policy. TaskBond does not promise the job will be redone, and it does not promise a pro will answer by a set time.
- 01Book a pro or post a job
Book someone at the price they set, or post the work and accept one quote. You see the price before you pay.
- 02Payment stays on hold
The card is charged when you book or accept. The pro keeps 100% of their price. You pay a 9% service fee and a 4% booking protection fee on top. The payout stays held until you confirm.
- 03Photo, confirm, or dispute
The pro uploads a completion photo. Confirm to release payment, or open a dispute within 72 hours. If you do neither, the hold releases 3 days after completion.
If something is wrong
Open a dispute from the booking within 72 hours after the pro marks it complete. The payout stays on hold while the dispute is open. If you cannot do that in the app, email support@thetaskbond.com with the booking. Cancel before the pro accepts, or if the pro cancels, and the refund is full. Cancel after acceptance with less than 24 hours until the appointment, or after the pro has arrived, and a $59 trip fee applies, capped at the quote.
Response times
TaskBond does not publish a response-time promise. A pro accepts, declines, or sends a quote when they choose. If a paid booking is still unaccepted after 48 hours, the payment is refunded. Support email is read by the operator. There is no stated same-day support window.
Frequently asked questions
Is Gold River booked separately from Anatolia?
Same city page, different houses. Put Gold River, Lincoln Village, Mather, Zinfandel, Anatolia, or Sunridge in the note so the pro quotes the right building type.
Can you install a camera on an apartment near Zinfandel?
Only if the landlord allows it. Many buildings do not allow exterior mounts or replacement of the door hardware. Interior assembly and a TV on a wall the lease allows are the usual alternative.
What small repairs are typical in older Rancho Cordova houses?
Door adjustments, drywall patches, caulk, curtain rods, and a faucet that drips. Not a panel, not a repipe, and not a job at $1,000 or more for an unlicensed pro.
Do I pay before the pro comes to Rancho Cordova?
You pay when you book a listed price or accept a quote. The payout is held. It goes to the pro when you confirm, or 3 days after completion if you do not dispute within 72 hours.
