Yard & Garden

Yard cleanup in Sacramento, CA

A cleanup is one visit to reset a yard, not weekly mowing and not tree removal. Storm debris that is a hung limb or a fallen tree is an arborist. Green waste fees belong in the quote if material leaves the property.

Where the visit changes

The same service is a different visit in a Midtown flat, a Citrus Heights ranch, and a Folsom Ranch two-story. Open the city page for the housing, access, and a task list written for that place.

TaskBond is a marketplace for independent pros. It is not a licensed contractor, and these pages are not an offer of licensed contractor work. An unlicensed pro cannot take a TaskBond job of $1,000 or more. Work that needs a building permit is outside these bookings. No tree climbing, no stump grinding, no hazardous waste, and no unlicensed total of $1,000 or more.

Price guidance

These are catalog examples already on TaskBond, not a quote and not a survey of local rates. The pro sets the price. You see it, plus a 9% service fee and a 4% booking protection fee, before you pay.

  • Yard Cleanup: example from $80.00 per job

An unlicensed pro cannot take a TaskBond job of $1,000 or more. Every example above is under that cap. A larger quote needs a pro who can legally take it.

What's included

  • Bagging or piling the debris you described.
  • Hauling only if the quote includes a haul, not as a silent extra.
  • Beds and corners you marked.

What's not included

  • Tree climbing and stump grinding.
  • Hazardous waste.
  • A full landscape redesign.
  • An unlicensed total of $1,000 or more.

How to prepare

  1. Mark what stays, especially new plants.
  2. Say where bags should go, or whether the pro should haul them.
  3. Close off dogs.
  4. Send a photo. A 'quick cleanup' and a season of leaves are different quotes.

Typical time

A typical single session often takes about 1–3 hours. A corner lot after a windstorm, or green waste that must be hauled, takes longer.

Checklist

  • Photo of the yard
  • What must not be cut or pulled
  • Bags versus haul-away
  • Gate access

How TaskBond works

Payment is held until you confirm the work.

This is a payment hold, not a workmanship warranty and not an insurance policy. TaskBond does not promise the job will be redone, and it does not promise a pro will answer by a set time.

  1. 01
Book a pro or post a job

Book someone at the price they set, or post the work and accept one quote. You see the price before you pay.

  2. 02
    Payment stays on hold

The card is charged when you book or accept. The pro keeps 100% of their price. You pay a 9% service fee and a 4% booking protection fee on top. The payout stays held until you confirm.

  3. 03
    Photo, confirm, or dispute

The pro uploads a completion photo. Confirm to release payment, or open a dispute within 72 hours. If you do neither, the hold releases 3 days after completion.

If something is wrong

Open a dispute from the booking within 72 hours after the pro marks it complete. The payout stays on hold while the dispute is open. If you cannot do that in the app, email support@thetaskbond.com with the booking. Cancel before the pro accepts, or if the pro cancels, and the refund is full. Cancel after acceptance with less than 24 hours until the appointment, or after the pro has arrived, and a $59 trip fee applies, capped at the quote.

Response times

TaskBond does not publish a response-time promise. A pro accepts, declines, or sends a quote when they choose. If a paid booking is still unaccepted after 48 hours, the payment is refunded. Support email is read by the operator. There is no stated same-day support window.

Frequently asked questions

Do you take the debris away?

Only when the quote says haul-away and includes the dump cost. Otherwise bags stay for your organics bin. Say which you want.

Can you remove a fallen tree?

No. Limbs you can pick up from the ground are cleanup. A tree, a hung branch, or a stump is not this service.
