Deep cleaning in Davis, CA

Deep cleaning in Davis shows up when a shared house downtown has a semester of kitchens behind it, or when a South Davis home wants baseboards before guests. An empty unit with cabinet interiors is a move-out clean.

Cleaning

What this usually looks like in Davis

Areas people book from in Davis: Downtown and Central Davis, University edge, North Davis and Wildhorse, South Davis and El Macero, West Davis and Village Homes, East Davis and Mace Ranch. The full housing notes for those neighborhoods are on the Davis city page, so this page stays on the visit itself.

Put the neighborhood in the job note. Your street address is shared only with you and the pro you book or the quote you accept. It is not posted on an open job.

TaskBond is a marketplace for independent pros. It is not a licensed contractor, and these pages are not an offer of licensed contractor work. An unlicensed pro cannot take a TaskBond job of $1,000 or more. Work that needs a building permit is outside these bookings. No mold remediation, no biohazard, no exterior pressure washing unless a separate yard quote says so, and no unlicensed job of $1,000 or more.

  • A shared downtown kitchen and the common baths, roommate rooms only if unlocked and listed.
  • A house in North Davis or Wildhorse.
  • Baseboards and appliances in Mace Ranch.
  • Not an empty lease-turnover unless you book move-out cleaning instead.

Price guidance

These are catalog examples already on TaskBond, not a quote and not a survey of local rates. The pro sets the price. You see it, plus a 9% service fee and a 4% booking protection fee, before you pay.

  • Deep Cleaning: example from $200.00 per job

An unlicensed pro cannot take a TaskBond job of $1,000 or more. Every example above is under that cap. A larger quote needs a pro who can legally take it.

What's included

  • The regular clean list, plus the buildup you describe.
  • Baseboards, doors, and the inside of appliances you specifically list.
  • Bathrooms with scale and soap buildup called out in the note.
  • Time matched to the condition, not to a tidy weekly clean.

What's not included

  • Mold remediation and biohazard cleanup.
  • Exterior pressure washing, unless a separate yard quote says so.
  • Carpet replacement, paint, or drywall.
  • An unlicensed job of $1,000 or more.

How to prepare

  1. Say how long it has been since the last thorough clean.
  2. List ovens, fridges, or blinds if those must be included.
  3. Clear counters enough that the surface can be reached.
  4. Agree on supplies in the quote.

Typical time

A typical deep clean often takes about 4–7 hours, and a very neglected home can take longer. If the condition is unknown, post it for quotes and send photos.

Checklist

  • Photos of the worst room
  • Appliance interiors you want included
  • Pets and stairs
  • Supplies preference

How TaskBond works

Payment is held until you confirm the work.

This is a payment hold, not a workmanship warranty and not an insurance policy. TaskBond does not promise the job will be redone, and it does not promise a pro will answer by a set time.

  1. 01
Book a pro or post a job

Book someone at the price they set, or post the work and accept one quote. You see the price before you pay.

  2. 02
    Payment stays on hold

The card is charged when you book or accept. The pro keeps 100% of their price. You pay a 9% service fee and a 4% booking protection fee on top. The payout stays held until you confirm.

  3. 03
    Photo, confirm, or dispute

The pro uploads a completion photo. Confirm to release payment, or open a dispute within 72 hours. If you do neither, the hold releases 3 days after completion.

If something is wrong

Open a dispute from the booking within 72 hours after the pro marks it complete. The payout stays on hold while the dispute is open. If you cannot do that in the app, email support@thetaskbond.com with the booking. Cancel before the pro accepts, or if the pro cancels, and the refund is full. Cancel after acceptance with less than 24 hours until the appointment, or after the pro has arrived, and a $59 trip fee applies, capped at the quote.

Response times

TaskBond does not publish a response-time promise. A pro accepts, declines, or sends a quote when they choose. If a paid booking is still unaccepted after 48 hours, the payment is refunded. Support email is read by the operator. There is no stated same-day support window.

Frequently asked questions

Can a deep clean cover only the common rooms of a Davis house share?

Yes. List the kitchen, baths, and halls, and say which bedroom doors stay closed. The pro should not enter a room that was not in the quote.

How is a deep clean different from move-out cleaning?

A deep clean is a home you are still using. A move-out clean is an empty unit, including empty cabinets, for a handoff. Book the one that matches the rooms.

Do I need to be home?

Someone needs to provide access, or you leave a key or code you are comfortable sharing with the pro you booked. TaskBond does not keep a master key.
