Move-out cleaning in Sacramento, CA
Move-out cleaning in Sacramento is a Midtown rental deadline or an empty house in Natomas or Land Park. Building managers downtown often want the unit empty and the elevator reserved. The clean does not decide your deposit.
What this usually looks like in Sacramento
Areas people book from in Sacramento: Midtown and downtown, East Sacramento and River Park, Land Park, Curtis Park, and Hollywood Park, Tahoe Park, Oak Park, and Elmhurst, Natomas, Pocket and Greenhaven. The full housing notes for those neighborhoods are on the Sacramento city page, so this page stays on the visit itself.
Put the neighborhood in the job note. Your street address is shared only with you and the pro you book or the quote you accept. It is not posted on an open job.
TaskBond is a marketplace for independent pros. It is not a licensed contractor, and these pages are not an offer of licensed contractor work. An unlicensed pro cannot take a TaskBond job of $1,000 or more. Work that needs a building permit is outside these bookings. No painting, no drywall, no carpet replacement, no biohazard, and no promise about a landlord's deposit. Patches and paint are separate services.
- An empty Midtown or downtown apartment, elevator or stair note included.
- An empty bungalow in Land Park or Curtis Park, inside cabinets.
- A Natomas house after the furniture is gone.
- Fridge and oven interiors, appliances already empty.
Price guidance
These are catalog examples already on TaskBond, not a quote and not a survey of local rates. The pro sets the price. You see it, plus a 9% service fee and a 4% booking protection fee, before you pay.
- Move-out Cleaning: example from $250.00 per job
An unlicensed pro cannot take a TaskBond job of $1,000 or more. Every example above is under that cap. A larger quote needs a pro who can legally take it.
What's included

- Bathrooms and kitchens after the furniture is gone.
- Floors, reachable dust, and the trash you left bagged.

How to prepare
- Have the home empty, or say exactly what is still inside.
- Leave keys, a code, or a plan to meet the pro.
- Point out the trash and recycling location.
- Attach the landlord's checklist if you have one, as a task list, not as a deposit promise.

How TaskBond works
Payment is held until you confirm the work.
This is a payment hold, not a workmanship warranty and not an insurance policy. TaskBond does not promise the job will be redone, and it does not promise a pro will answer by a set time.
- 01Book a pro or post a job
Book someone at the price they set, or post the work and accept one quote. You see the price before you pay.
- 02Payment stays on hold
The card is charged when you book or accept. The pro keeps 100% of their price. You pay a 9% service fee and a 4% booking protection fee on top. The payout stays held until you confirm.
- 03Photo, confirm, or dispute
The pro uploads a completion photo. Confirm to release payment, or open a dispute within 72 hours. If you do neither, the hold releases 3 days after completion.
If something is wrong
Open a dispute from the booking within 72 hours after the pro marks it complete. The payout stays on hold while the dispute is open. If you cannot do that in the app, email support@thetaskbond.com with the booking. Cancel before the pro accepts, or if the pro cancels, and the refund is full. Cancel after acceptance with less than 24 hours until the appointment, or after the pro has arrived, and a $59 trip fee applies, capped at the quote.
Response times
TaskBond does not publish a response-time promise. A pro accepts, declines, or sends a quote when they choose. If a paid booking is still unaccepted after 48 hours, the payment is refunded. Support email is read by the operator. There is no stated same-day support window.
Frequently asked questions
Can a Midtown building's move-out rules be part of the booking?
Write them in the note: elevator window, key return, where to leave trash. The pro can clean inside that window. They cannot negotiate your lease.
Does move-out cleaning guarantee my deposit?
No. The landlord or manager decides. The clean is the work described in the quote. Take your own photos after.
What if the home is not empty?
Say so. Furniture in the way changes the job. Assembly or moving help is a different booking. A cleaner does not haul a household as part of a silent add-on.
