Move-out cleaning in Citrus Heights, CA

Move-out cleaning in Citrus Heights is often a one-story ranch or an apartment near Sunrise Mall. Original kitchens have more cabinet space than a new loft and more grease. Have them empty. The landlord still decides the deposit.

Cleaning

What this usually looks like in Citrus Heights

Areas people book from in Citrus Heights: Greenback and Sylvan, Sunrise Mall and Stock Ranch, Auburn Boulevard, Rusch Park and Arcade Creek, Mariposa and north Citrus Heights. The full housing notes for those neighborhoods are on the Citrus Heights city page, so this page stays on the visit itself.

Put the neighborhood in the job note. Your street address is shared only with you and the pro you book or the quote you accept. It is not posted on an open job.

TaskBond is a marketplace for independent pros. It is not a licensed contractor, and these pages are not an offer of licensed contractor work. An unlicensed pro cannot take a TaskBond job of $1,000 or more. Work that needs a building permit is outside these bookings. No painting, no drywall, no carpet replacement, no biohazard, and no promise about a landlord's deposit. Patches and paint are separate services.

  • An empty ranch near Greenback or Sylvan.
  • An apartment near Sunrise Mall or Auburn Boulevard, keys and gate described.
  • Original kitchen cabinets, cleared first.
  • Bathrooms in a north Citrus Heights house.

Price guidance

These are catalog examples already on TaskBond, not a quote and not a survey of local rates. The pro sets the price. You see it, plus a 9% service fee and a 4% booking protection fee, before you pay.

  • Move-out Cleaning: example from $250.00 per job

An unlicensed pro cannot take a TaskBond job of $1,000 or more. Every example above is under that cap. A larger quote needs a pro who can legally take it.

What's included

  • Empty rooms, cabinets, and appliance interiors you can open.
  • Bathrooms and kitchens after the furniture is gone.
  • Floors, reachable dust, and the trash you left bagged.
  • A walkthrough list you put in the note.

What's not included

  • Painting, drywall, and carpet replacement.
  • A promise about a landlord's deposit. TaskBond does not control that decision.
  • Biohazard cleanup.
  • An unlicensed job of $1,000 or more.

How to prepare

  1. Have the home empty, or say exactly what is still inside.
  2. Leave keys, a code, or a plan to meet the pro.
  3. Point out the trash and recycling location.
  4. Attach the landlord's checklist if you have one, as a task list, not as a deposit promise.

Typical time

A typical empty home often takes about 4–8 hours. A studio can be shorter. A large house with appliance interiors often takes longer.

Checklist

  • Empty, or a list of what remains
  • Access plan
  • Landlord checklist, if you have one
  • City and home size

How TaskBond works

Payment is held until you confirm the work.

This is a payment hold, not a workmanship warranty and not an insurance policy. TaskBond does not promise the job will be redone, and it does not promise a pro will answer by a set time.

  1. 01
Book a pro or post a job

Book someone at the price they set, or post the work and accept one quote. You see the price before you pay.

  2. 02
    Payment stays on hold

The card is charged when you book or accept. The pro keeps 100% of their price. You pay a 9% service fee and a 4% booking protection fee on top. The payout stays held until you confirm.

  3. 03
    Photo, confirm, or dispute

The pro uploads a completion photo. Confirm to release payment, or open a dispute within 72 hours. If you do neither, the hold releases 3 days after completion.

If something is wrong

Open a dispute from the booking within 72 hours after the pro marks it complete. The payout stays on hold while the dispute is open. If you cannot do that in the app, email support@thetaskbond.com with the booking. Cancel before the pro accepts, or if the pro cancels, and the refund is full. Cancel after acceptance with less than 24 hours until the appointment, or after the pro has arrived, and a $59 trip fee applies, capped at the quote.

Response times

TaskBond does not publish a response-time promise. A pro accepts, declines, or sends a quote when they choose. If a paid booking is still unaccepted after 48 hours, the payment is refunded. Support email is read by the operator. There is no stated same-day support window.

Frequently asked questions

Are Citrus Heights apartment move-outs different from houses?

The clean is similar. The access and the trash room are not. Name the complex entry and where bags go. A house uses your bins.

Does move-out cleaning guarantee my deposit?

No. The landlord or manager decides. The clean is the work described in the quote. Take your own photos after.

What if the home is not empty?

Say so. Furniture in the way changes the job. Assembly or moving help is a different booking. A cleaner does not haul a household as part of a silent add-on.
