TV mounting in West Sacramento, CA

TV mounting in West Sacramento is easy to mis-quote if the neighborhood is missing. Southport is mostly wood studs and drywall. Bridge District and Washington lofts can be concrete, and the building may limit where you can drill. Broderick rooms are older and smaller.

What this usually looks like in West Sacramento

Areas people book from in West Sacramento: Southport, Bridge District and Washington, Broderick and Bryte, Linden and West Capitol, The Rivers. The full housing notes for those neighborhoods are on the West Sacramento city page, so this page stays on the visit itself.

Put the neighborhood in the job note. Your street address is shared only with you and the pro you book or the quote you accept. It is not posted on an open job.

TaskBond is a marketplace for independent pros. It is not a licensed contractor, and these pages are not an offer of licensed contractor work. An unlicensed pro cannot take a TaskBond job of $1,000 or more. Work that needs a building permit is outside these bookings. In-wall electrical, a new outlet behind the TV, and any opening that needs a permit are not part of these bookings.

  • A family-room mount in Southport, TV and bracket already in the house.
  • A loft mount in the Bridge District only after confirming the wall material and the building rules.
  • A modest set in a Broderick or Bryte living room, sized to a shorter wall.
  • Same-day timing after an IKEA pickup only if the boxes are in the unit first. The mount still needs the right anchors.

Price guidance

These are catalog examples already on TaskBond, not a quote and not a survey of local rates. The pro sets the price. You see it, plus a 9% service fee and a 4% booking protection fee, before you pay.

  • TV Mounting (≤55"): example from $120.00 per job
  • TV Mounting (56"–75"): example from $160.00 per job

An unlicensed pro cannot take a TaskBond job of $1,000 or more. Every example above is under that cap. A larger quote needs a pro who can legally take it.

What's included

  • Finding studs or using anchors that match the wall you described.
  • A fixed, tilt, or full-motion bracket, either yours or one the quote adds.
  • Leveling and centering at a height you agree on before the holes.
  • Sets up to 55 inches, or 56–75 inches when that is the rate you booked.
  • A soundbar only when the note and the quote include it.
  • Basic cable tidy. In-wall cable paths only when the quote says the wall can take them without a permit.
  • A picture check and cleanup of dust and packaging.

What's not included

  • A new outlet or any in-wall electrical work.
  • Openings that need a permit.
  • A second TV, unless it is a separate line on the quote.
  • Mounting where a lease forbids holes.
  • An unlicensed pro taking a job of $1,000 or more.

How to prepare

  1. Measure the TV and the wall, including a fireplace or window that limits height.
  2. Have the TV, the mount, and the hardware in the room. Say if the pro should bring a bracket.
  3. Move what you can from the wall. Leave a clear path for a ladder.
  4. If you rent, have written permission to drill, or say that holes are not allowed.
  5. Name the wall: drywall, plaster, brick, concrete, or tile.

Typical time

A typical single TV on open drywall often takes about 45–120 minutes. Plaster, brick, a large set, a fireplace, or a soundbar often runs longer. That is a range, not a promise the visit will end in an hour.

Checklist

  • TV size and model, if you know it
  • Wall material and a photo that includes the ceiling and the sofa
  • Mount on site, or a request to add one to the quote
  • Rental permission, if the home is not yours
  • Neighborhood, so the pro knows stairs, parking, and ceiling height

How TaskBond works

Payment is held until you confirm the work.

This is a payment hold, not a workmanship warranty and not an insurance policy. TaskBond does not promise the job will be redone, and it does not promise a pro will answer by a set time.

  1. 01
Book a pro or post a job

Book someone at the price they set, or post the work and accept one quote. You see the price before you pay.

  2. 02
    Payment stays on hold

The card is charged when you book or accept. The pro keeps 100% of their price. You pay a 9% service fee and a 4% booking protection fee on top. The payout stays held until you confirm.

  3. 03
    Photo, confirm, or dispute

The pro uploads a completion photo. Confirm to release payment, or open a dispute within 72 hours. If you do neither, the hold releases 3 days after completion.

If something is wrong

Open a dispute from the booking within 72 hours after the pro marks it complete. The payout stays on hold while the dispute is open. If you cannot do that in the app, email support@thetaskbond.com with the booking. Cancel before the pro accepts, or if the pro cancels, and the refund is full. Cancel after acceptance with less than 24 hours until the appointment, or after the pro has arrived, and a $59 trip fee applies, capped at the quote.

Response times

TaskBond does not publish a response-time promise. A pro accepts, declines, or sends a quote when they choose. If a paid booking is still unaccepted after 48 hours, the payment is refunded. Support email is read by the operator. There is no stated same-day support window.

Frequently asked questions

Can you mount a TV on a Bridge District concrete wall?

Sometimes, with masonry anchors, and only if the building allows it. Do not book a Southport drywall price for a concrete loft. Send a photo and say which floor you are on, including whether the elevator fits the TV box.

Do I need to buy the wall mount first?

Either way works. If you own a mount, the pro installs that mount. If you do not, name the TV size and wall type and the pro can add a compatible bracket to the quote. You approve the quote before you pay.

Can a TV go on brick, plaster, or tile?

Often yes, with the right bit and anchors. Plaster in older Sacramento houses hides lath and can crack if it is treated like drywall. Say the wall type, or send a photo, when you book.
