What this usually looks like in Roseville

Areas people book from in Roseville: Downtown Roseville and Roseville Park, Highland Reserve, Stanford Ranch, and Johnson Ranch, West Roseville, Fiddyment Farm, and Blue Oaks, Sun City Roseville, Galleria and Roseville Parkway. The full housing notes for those neighborhoods are on the Roseville city page, so this page stays on the visit itself.

Put the neighborhood in the job note. Your street address is shared only with you and the pro you book or the quote you accept. It is not posted on an open job.

TaskBond is a marketplace for independent pros. It is not a licensed contractor, and these pages are not an offer of licensed contractor work. An unlicensed pro cannot take a TaskBond job of $1,000 or more. Work that needs a building permit is outside these bookings. No lead-paint abatement, no exterior, no roof, no cabinet refinishing, no drywall replacement, and no unlicensed job of $1,000 or more. Homes built before 1978 can contain lead. TaskBond does not offer abatement.

  • A bedroom in Fiddyment Farm or Blue Oaks, ceiling height noted.
  • A Sun City room, furniture moved within the room.
  • One downtown Roseville room on an intact surface.
  • An accent wall only, if that is all you list, priced as that wall.

Price guidance

These are catalog examples already on TaskBond, not a quote and not a survey of local rates. The pro sets the price. You see it, plus a 9% service fee and a 4% booking protection fee, before you pay.

  • Single Room Painting: example from $200.00 per room

An unlicensed pro cannot take a TaskBond job of $1,000 or more. Every example above is under that cap. A larger quote needs a pro who can legally take it.

What's included

  • The walls of one room, in the color the quote names.
  • The prep the quote lists: fill small nail holes, tape, and cover floors.
  • Standard ceiling height unless you said the room is two stories.

What's not included

  • Lead-paint abatement. Homes built before 1978 can contain lead, and TaskBond does not offer abatement.
  • Exterior paint, roofs, and cabinet refinishing.
  • Drywall replacement.
  • A second room that was not in the quote.
  • An unlicensed job of $1,000 or more.

How to prepare

  1. Move what you can to the center, or say the pro should move furniture and include that in the quote.
  2. Choose the color before the visit.
  3. Say whether you are supplying paint.
  4. Tell the pro if the house was built before 1978.

Typical time

A typical single interior room often takes about 1 day, including dry time between coats. High ceilings, damage, or a color change from a dark wall take longer.

Checklist

  • Room and approximate size
  • Color, and who buys the paint
  • Ceiling height
  • Year of the home, if you know it
  • Furniture plan

How TaskBond works

Payment is held until you confirm the work.

This is a payment hold, not a workmanship warranty and not an insurance policy. TaskBond does not promise the job will be redone, and it does not promise a pro will answer by a set time.

  1. 01
Book a pro or post a job

Book someone at the price they set, or post the work and accept one quote. You see the price before you pay.

  2. 02
    Payment stays on hold

The card is charged when you book or accept. The pro keeps 100% of their price. You pay a 9% service fee and a 4% booking protection fee on top. The payout stays held until you confirm.

  3. 03
    Photo, confirm, or dispute

The pro uploads a completion photo. Confirm to release payment, or open a dispute within 72 hours. If you do neither, the hold releases 3 days after completion.

If something is wrong

Open a dispute from the booking within 72 hours after the pro marks it complete. The payout stays on hold while the dispute is open. If you cannot do that in the app, email support@thetaskbond.com with the booking. Cancel before the pro accepts, or if the pro cancels, and the refund is full. Cancel after acceptance with less than 24 hours until the appointment, or after the pro has arrived, and a $59 trip fee applies, capped at the quote.

Response times

TaskBond does not publish a response-time promise. A pro accepts, declines, or sends a quote when they choose. If a paid booking is still unaccepted after 48 hours, the payment is refunded. Support email is read by the operator. There is no stated same-day support window.

Frequently asked questions

Do tall Roseville ceilings cost the same as Sun City?

They should not. A two-story entry is not this service anyway. A bedroom with a high ceiling needs that fact in the note so the pro brings a taller setup and prices the wall area.

Who buys the paint?

You, unless the quote includes specific gallons and the sheen. Leftover mystery paint is how a room goes patchy. Agree on the product first.

Can you paint a house built before 1978?

Only as a coat on an intact surface, with no sanding or scraping that would disturb old paint. TaskBond does not do lead abatement. If the paint is failing and the house is old, hire a qualified lead-safe contractor instead.
