Lawn mowing in Folsom, CA

Lawn mowing in Folsom stays on your turf. Lake Natoma trails and open space are not a backyard. Folsom Ranch lawns are often still establishing. Historic Folsom fronts are small. Irrigation repair is not part of the cut.

What this usually looks like in Folsom

Areas people book from in Folsom: Historic Folsom, Natoma Station and American River Canyon, Broadstone, Briggs Ranch, and Empire Ranch, Prairie Oaks, Willow Creek, and The Parkway, Folsom Ranch. The full housing notes for those neighborhoods are on the Folsom city page, so this page stays on the visit itself.

Put the neighborhood in the job note. Your street address is shared only with you and the pro you book or the quote you accept. It is not posted on an open job.

TaskBond is a marketplace for independent pros. It is not a licensed contractor, and these pages are not an offer of licensed contractor work. An unlicensed pro cannot take a TaskBond job of $1,000 or more. Work that needs a building permit is outside these bookings. No tree removal, no stump grinding, no pesticide applicator work, and no irrigation repair. An unlicensed pro cannot take $1,000 or more.

  • A yard in Broadstone, Empire Ranch, or Natoma Station, gate included.
  • A newer Folsom Ranch lawn, obstacles and bare spots described.
  • A small Historic Folsom front.
  • Edging in Prairie Oaks or Willow Creek if the quote lists it.

Price guidance

These are catalog examples already on TaskBond, not a quote and not a survey of local rates. The pro sets the price. You see it, plus a 9% service fee and a 4% booking protection fee, before you pay.

  • Lawn Mowing: example from $50.00 per job

An unlicensed pro cannot take a TaskBond job of $1,000 or more. Every example above is under that cap. A larger quote needs a pro who can legally take it.

What's included

  • Mowing the lawn area in the quote.
  • Edging and blowing clippings only when the quote includes them.
  • A note about gates, dogs, and obstacles you mention.

What's not included

  • Tree removal, climbing, and stump grinding.
  • Pesticide application.
  • Irrigation repair.
  • An unlicensed job of $1,000 or more.

How to prepare

  1. Pick up toys, hoses, and pet waste.
  2. Say if a dog will be in the yard.
  3. Point out sprinkler heads so they are not a surprise.
  4. Unlock the gate, or leave a plan for access.

Typical time

A typical suburban lawn often takes about 30–90 minutes. A large lot, tall wet grass, or a backyard with obstacles takes longer.

Checklist

  • Front, back, or both
  • Gate and dog
  • Rough lot size or a photo
  • Edging wanted or not

How TaskBond works

Payment is held until you confirm the work.

This is a payment hold, not a workmanship warranty and not an insurance policy. TaskBond does not promise the job will be redone, and it does not promise a pro will answer by a set time.

  1. 01
Book a pro or post a job

Book someone at the price they set, or post the work and accept one quote. You see the price before you pay.

  2. 02
    Payment stays on hold

The card is charged when you book or accept. The pro keeps 100% of their price. You pay a 9% service fee and a 4% booking protection fee on top. The payout stays held until you confirm.

  3. 03
    Photo, confirm, or dispute

The pro uploads a completion photo. Confirm to release payment, or open a dispute within 72 hours. If you do neither, the hold releases 3 days after completion.

If something is wrong

Open a dispute from the booking within 72 hours after the pro marks it complete. The payout stays on hold while the dispute is open. If you cannot do that in the app, email support@thetaskbond.com with the booking. Cancel before the pro accepts, or if the pro cancels, and the refund is full. Cancel after acceptance with less than 24 hours until the appointment, or after the pro has arrived, and a $59 trip fee applies, capped at the quote.

Response times

TaskBond does not publish a response-time promise. A pro accepts, declines, or sends a quote when they choose. If a paid booking is still unaccepted after 48 hours, the payment is refunded. Support email is read by the operator. There is no stated same-day support window.

Frequently asked questions

Can a new Folsom Ranch lawn be mowed the same way as an older yard?

New sod and an established lawn are different. Say if the grass was just laid. A heavy cut on new sod can tear it. The pro should match the cut to what is actually growing.

Do you fix sprinklers?

No. Mowing is the cut. Broken heads, valves, and clocks are a different trade. A brown summer lawn is often water, not the mower.

How often should a lawn be booked?

That is your choice and the pro's availability. Weekly or biweekly in the growing season is common. TaskBond does not lock you into a contract on this page. Each visit is a booking or a quote you accept.
